Cancellations:
No refunds for late cancellations, early checkouts, or weather-related issues.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-in 4 PM, check-out 10 AM. Please load dishes, take out trash, and lock up before you leave.
Pets:
Pet-friendly cabins welcome up to 2 pets (under 75 lbs) with a pet fee. Keep pets leashed outside, crated when unattended, and off furniture.
House Rules:
Registered guest must be 18+ and present at check-in. No parties, loud noise, or smoking indoors (outdoor areas only).
Amenities:
Enjoy hot tubs and pools responsibly — supervise kids, no glass or oils, and replace covers after use (cover damage fee $350).
Mountain Life:
Some roads are steep; 4WD may be needed in winter. Wildlife sightings are part of the charm — please don’t feed them.
Damage Waiver & Security:
A small damage waiver covers up to $1,000 in accidental damage. Some outdoor cameras are used for safety; never indoors.

🐾 HoneyBear Hideaways Pet Policy($500 Pet Fee per pet)
We’re happy to welcome pets at our designated pet-friendly cabins. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone, please review and follow the guidelines below:
• Up to two house-trained dogs or cats are permitted per stay, each under 75 lbs (no exotic pets).
• Proof of current vaccinations is required at the time of booking for all pets.
• Property-specific pet fees apply. These fees do not cover excessive cleaning or any pet-related damages.
• Pets must remain off furniture and beds and be crated when left unattended inside the cabin. Closing a pet in a room is not a substitute for crating.
• Pets must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times outdoors, in compliance with Tennessee’s state leash law and for their safety, as wildlife is common in the Smokies.
• No pets are allowed in pools, hot tubs, or on outdoor furniture.
• All pets must be healthy, flea-free, and parasite-free before arrival.
By bringing a pet, guests agree to uphold these standards. These policies help us preserve the comfort, cleanliness, and elevated experience that HoneyBear Hideaways is known for.
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:
Option 1: Damage Waiver ($47) – Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$2/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.
Option 2: Security Deposit ($1,000) – Refundable temporary hold that releases after your stay.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account – it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of our favorite local spots.

My husband and I, with our three children absolutely enjoyed our time at Striking Views. One of the highlights was the rooftop with panoramic views of the mountains. We were able to watch the sunrise every morning and the views were spectacular. My children loved the arcade room and the bowling alley! And the indoor pool! Alex was very attentive to any and all needs and quick to respond. The house was well stocked and I took notice in the small intitions to provide thoughtful amenities in the bathrooms. We love Tennessee and this home absolutely highlights some of the great things Tennessee is know for; beauty and hospitality. Thanks for hosting our family!

This place was super cozy and had everything we needed. Hosts were exceptionally accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process. The golf simulator and duck pin bowling were both awesome additions! Plus, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The rooftop views were absolutely stunning! Can't recommend this spot enough. We’ll definitely be back!
